The Friends of SPSP have raised an amazing £714.08 from the recent Penny Wars battle between the classes. Our brand new Reception class smashed it and completed the task of filling the bottle first ( only a few plastic coins from the shop role play area made there way in ….! ) and special mention to Mr Mico’s Year 5 class who were close on their heels and raised an immense £276.37 on their own. Well done to all the classes who all did brilliantly. Reception and Year 5 will both win a class prize.
The Friends of SPSP followed this up with the Book Fair, which raised a book-chart topping £386.66 in vouchers for the school to put towards new books for the library and classrooms.
Last Friday, the Friends held an Old Fashioned Fun afternoon, Years 5 & 6 ran traditional games, there was face painting, stalls and refreshments. It was so lovely to see so many of our wonderful families there and another £500 was raised for school projects.
A huge thank you to all the Friends of SPSP, those who gave up their time on the day and those who attended and supported the school so much. THANK YOU !
