St Peter & St Paul School is a thriving and vibrant independent day school. We are proudly non-selective and we educate girls and boys aged 4-11 years, with an Ofsted Outstanding Nursery located on site for children from 3 months - 4 years.

Ethos and Values

Our Mission

To do things differently, to embrace innovation, thrive on opportunities and explore new ways to nurture all those in our School Community.

Our five values, a value for each of the points of our Guiding Star are for every member of our school community and provide a framework that children can carry with them throughout their lives.

Our Values

Our core values are linked to our Guiding Star; they provide every member of our community with a code of conduct for life.  The result is polite, confident and reflective children who leave St Peter & St Paul School in Year 6 ready to rise to the challenge of their senior school journey.

Aim High

To develop enquiring minds and a lifelong love of learning. To work hard and aim to be the best version of ourselves as individuals and as a community. We will try to improve and approach each challenge and opportunity with energy and optimism.

Respect

To encourage self-respect and that of others through good manners. To listen carefully and openly. To build strong relationships of trust and loyalty.

Care

To be a welcoming, caring and inclusive community in which we all feel valued and where we can grow in confidence. We will care for others and encourage an active interest in the local community and the world beyond school.

Bravery

To speak honestly, to prepare for the future and stand up for what we believe.

Thankfulness

To be generous of spirit to others, to praise effort, instil fair play & team work. To foster a sense of giving back to others less fortunate than ourselves.
