St Peter & St Paul School has a proud local history.
It was founded in 1944 by Miss Elizabeth Branson, the daughter of a missionary

At that time the school was situated in Worksop and had six pupils.

1997 proved to be the most important year in our school's history when Brambling House was acquired and the whole school moved to Chesterfield. Our patron, the late Dowager Duchess of Devonshire, officially opened the school on 21st October 1997.

Today the school continues to thrive and flourish.  It enjoyed its 75th anniversary celebrations in 2019.
