Delight at ISI Inspection Report
The Headmaster was delighted with the outcome of our ISI Inspection which took place during the Summer Term. The final report landed on his desk last week and it confirmed the success that the school is enjoying and acknowledged the continuing development of the school. The report highlights the pupils' overall academic achievements and states that the pupils' results at Key Stage 1 & 2 'are far above the national average'. The report also praises the personal development of the pupils and judges it to be excellent. The school governance is also praised and particular plaudits have been given to the work of The Headmaster in successfully moving the school forward since the last inspection in 2005. The school's Early Years Foundation Stage was praised and was said to be outstanding in all areas.
On hearing the news, Andrew Lamb, Headmaster, said, 'I am delighted at the success of the school and it is a tribute to the hard work of all the staff team, pupils and parents. It is great to see the school growing by 4% in the past twelve months when so many independent schools are finding it difficult. The secret is possibly in the amazing value and success of an education here, something all parents should investigate. Small classes and a range of opportunities bring benefits to every pupil.'
