Against all odds!
While over a hundred schools closed today (Tuesday 3rd February), St Peter & St Paul School was open as usual. All the staff made it to school as did the majority of children. The Headmaster often says that if you expect a lot, you get a lot and today was no exception as was shown by the number of parents who were determined their children should take advantage of a school that always remains open!
Alongside the normal school activities, sledging and snowballing were also on offer supervised by those who are more accustomed to teaching in a classroom. So much could be learnt outside including how to steer a sledge and build a snowman! Education must be fun and the staff were just as eager to sledge as the children which meant that everyone had a good time.
