Our Results & After SPSP
An important part of our School's role is to "prepare" children for the next step of senior school and beyond.
A lot of visiting parents ask where our children move onto next , our answer is simple - we are a truly Independent prep school who provides an excellent grounding across all areas of the curriculum.Our children are fully prepared both academically and with the life skills they require - therefore our children make a successful transition to any school whether that be within the Independent of State sector.
Destination Schools 2019
Our children are highly sought after owing to their excellent preparation at St Peter & St Paul School - this year our pupils went to the following Independent schools;
- MSM College and Westbourne
And the following State schools;
- St Mary's High School, Chesterfield; Lady Manners, Bakewell , Highfields, Matlock and Netherthorpe, Staveley
Previous cohorts have gone to; Denstone College; Worksop College; Repton; Trent College, Sheffield Girls High and Birkdale
Most years our pupils win either academic, sports or musical scholarships. Feedback from the Headteachers and Heads of Year from both educational sectors is how well prepared, organized and self-motivated St Peter & St Paul pupils are when they move up.

Our Results
St Peter & St Paul is a proudly non selective school.
We provide a high quality level of teaching through a Class based teacher system supported through Specialist Subject teachers. All our teachers are qualified and with significant experience.We have a high proportion of male teachers which ensures a great balance of diverse role models for your child.
We follow the National Curriculum and our children sit SATs at the end of Year 2 ( KS1 ) and Year 6 ( KS2).
SPSP annually features in the Sunday Times Parent PowerTop 100 Independent preparatory schools in the United Kingdom.
At age 11 our families choose whether to continue in the Independent sector for senior education where we have an excellent reputation within the network of local South Yorkshire , Derbyshire , Nottinghamshire and Staffordshire schools or move into the maintained sector having received an excellent foundation.
A percentage of our pupils successfully apply for Independent School Scholarships, which indicates the strength and depth of our academic teaching. An accolade of which we are particularly proud is our reputation for producing well rounded individuals who know how to work and how to take advantage of all the opportunities open to them.
