Beyond the Academic

Being a pupil at St Peter & St Paul is about being prepared for life. Our unique ‘Life Skills’ programme is a cornerstone of our success. Sport, Music and Drama provide children with the opportunity to build confidence and to be part of a team while at the same time encouraging them to understand the importance of self-discipline.
Our ‘Life Skills’ programme includes activities such as Indoor Climbing, Archery, Orienteering, First Aid, Cookery, Swimming and Camp Craft. This range of activities challenges our pupils and encourages them to become independent and self-sufficient. Our Life Skills programme culminates in Years 5 & 6 taking part in an residential Activity Week based in the rugged Peak District.
