Beyond the Academic

Being a pupil at St Peter & St Paul is about being prepared for life. Our unique ‘Life Skills’ programme is a cornerstone of our success. Sport, Music and Drama provide children with the opportunity to build confidence and to be part of a team while at the same time encouraging them to understand the importance of self-discipline.

Our ‘Life Skills’ programme includes activities such as Indoor Climbing, Archery, Orienteering, First Aid, Cookery, Aerobic Dance, Squash, Swimming and Dramatic Improvisation. This range of activities challenges our pupils and encourages them to become independent and self-sufficient.

Extra-Curricular Activities and Clubs form part of our weekly timetable within the Junior Department, where pupils are at school until 4.30pm. Pupils in our Infant Department, who are at school until 3.40pm, can take part in After School Clubs until 4.30pm so that parents with children in both Infant and Juniors are able to collect them at the same time.
