EARLY YEARS FOUNDATION STAGE SUPPORT WORKER
We are currently looking to employ a support worker to assist within our Early Years Foundation Stage for the remainder of this academic year. The duties would include supporting other staff by helping with the health and welfare needs of children aged 4 and 5 as well as to assist in the playground and at mealtimes. The number of hours would be up to a maximum of 30 hours per week termtime only, all hours being within normal school hours of 08.30 to 16.30.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and due to this post having access to children, candidates will be required to undertake an enhanced Criminal Record Check as well as providing satisfactory references from three people, including current or last employer. The possession of a criminal record will not necessarily prevent an applicant from obtaining this post, as all cases are judged individually according to the nature of the role and information provided by applicants.
