Fees and Charges from September 2010
We strive to keep our fees as low as possible.
School Fees
Infants (Reception, Years 1 & 2) ~ £2,144per term
Juniors (Years 3, 4, 5 & 6) ~ £2,268 per term
(There are three terms in a year.)
Sibling Reductions
We offer a sibling reduction of 5% off the term's fees for the second child, 10% for the third child and 20% for the fourth child.
Before & After School Care
We understand how complex life is for working families and with this in mind we offer Before and After School Care from 7.30am to 6pm each day. Arrangements and payment to be made direct with Children 1st (Tel: 01246 276721)
Extra-Curricular Activities & After School Clubs
For Juniors these are within our weekly curriculum and included in the termly fee (shown above). Clubs for Years 1 & 2 that take place daily between 3.45pm and 4.30pm are charged at £60 per Club per term.Years 1 & 2 Clubs currently offered include: French, Drama, Board Games, Design Technology, Information Technology, Dance, Handicraft and Gymnastics. The only 'Club' available for Reception Children up to 4.30pm is After School Care within Children 1st and will be billed directly by Children 1st.
Parents with children in both the Infant and Junior Departments may opt for the Junior inclusive fee for all their children.
Registration Fee
A non-refundable fee of £100 is due when submitting an application for entry.
Placement Deposit
A placement deposit of £200*, which guarantees a child's place, is due at least six months prior to a child's entry and is only refundable when the child leaves at the end of Year 6. (*Failure to pay the Placement Deposit on time may result in a £100 surcharge.)
Extras
Other charges may occur during a term and can be included on the following term's invoice.
Optional additional schemes to cover sickness, redundancy etc.
School Trips ~ normally no more than £15 per trip unless additional transport is required.
Instrumental Music Lessons ~ £160 per term plus individual books, music exams etc.
School and Individual Photographs ~ charged at cost.
Excluding optional insurance, individual music lessons, uniform and transport arranged individually with parents, extras do not normally exceed £100 per term.
Bursaries
One Infant and one Junior Bursary is offered each year up to the value of 50% of the fee. There is a development/educational assessment as well as a financial assessment. Please contact The Headmaster for details.
Fee Payment
Fees can be paid by Cheque, Direct Debit (Annual, Termly or Monthly) or by Internet/Bank Transfer. For further information on how to pay fees, please contact The Bursar.
Cash Payments
Due to regualtions covering money laundering and tax evasion, the School will not accept cash payments for any amount exceeding the Registration Fee/Placement Deposit.
Fixed Term Fees
Rather like a fixed term mortgage, why not take advantage of our fixed term fee! It is a very cost effective way of insuring against inevitable rises in school fees. Beat the rises and always pay the same!
